Celebrating our Summer Term
BackWe’ve had an incredible year which has been packed full of enrichment activities and celebrations of achievement. From Published Young Writers, Poetry awards, trips to Maltilda, Sorrento and the Southampton University Robotics competition, the highlights below include some of the events our students have enjoyed during their first full year of school in almost three years!
Thanks again to all of our students, staff and families who have made this year so special and all the best for a restful and very enjoyable summer break!

Highlights of this have included:
- Outstanding photography from Kew Gardens and our 'Architecture' Photo Challenge
- Literary success in the 'Gift of Kindness' and Published Young Writers
- Events in our Sixth Form, such as the Trip to Sorrento, Italy, Student Robotics Competition and their Success, Appointment of our Senior Team for 2022-23, UCAS Convention, Futures Days, our Class of 2022 Group Photo and Year 13 Celebrations
- Trips such as our Flight Experience Day, Nuclear Races, Matilda Musical and the Sand Project
- Artistic works such as Year 7 Instrumentals, our Languages Art Competition, More Faculty Artwork, and the superb Crochet Periodic Table
- Hertswood's community working to better the world, with the Race for Life, Student Islamophobia presentation and Free Breakfasts for Those in Need
- Sports updates, such as our Visit from Borehamwood FC and our First 'Mixed Rounders' Team
- The Launch of our Facilities Hiring Platform
- Celebrating the success of our students after Sixth Form, with Updates from Alumni and Even More Updates today
