Week of DT 2024 - Tuesday

After sharing the work of Gracjan and Hugh yesterday to start off our Week of DT, we continue today with more from our Year 10 GCSE students with Emily and Beniamin.

Emily designed a jewellery stand with a plywood drawer and different shades of blue acrylic. With lighting in the central tower, she managed to create an eye-catching graduated effect, with the light bright near the base.

Ben chose to imagine a client with a keen interest in basketball. He designed a storage unit to look like a court, with laser-cut black acrylic for the nets. His drawer in the base was carefully considered, to conceal and protect all of the wiring for safety.
