Sporting Confidence

Last week, twelve of our Year 7 students visited Wodson Park in Ware for an inspiring multi-sport event. The day was specifically designed to build self-esteem, confidence, and communication skills through a variety of unique physical challenges.

Our students had the fantastic opportunity to meet a player from the England Wallball Team while trying their hand at new activities including Quidditch, Batak, and Blazepods. The group worked brilliantly as a team, showing impressive growth in confidence as the day progressed.

The event concluded on a high note with the team earning a bronze medal for their third-place finish in the afternoon competitions. Miss Tinsley and Mr Blackwell, Heads of PE, would like to congratulate all involved on their dedication and teamwork throughout the day.
