Ambassadors for Wellbeing

Since September, six of our Year 11 students have taken part in the 'Youth Ambassadors' project in association with The Sandbox. This initiative aims to empower students in promoting mental health and wellbeing across their school communities. For their first group task, our Ambassadors created an informative poster based on the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing,’ which is now displayed on digital signage throughout the Academy.

The Sandbox is an NHS-funded service dedicated to supporting the mental health of young people across Hertfordshire, and we are proud to see our Year 11s contributing to such vital work. As part of their development, the group also participated in an insightful webinar focused on understanding anxiety.

If any other students are interested in joining this project and making a difference, they should contact Mr Swingler, Key Stage 4 Manager. We look forward to seeing more from our Ambassadors over the coming months.
