More Music for Charity!
Back
With the overwhelming level of support we have seen for our fundraising campaign for Herts Mind Network, Headteacher Peter Gillett has revisited a track recorded in 2002, during his time as an Assistant Headteacher at Wembley High School in Brent, London.
To further our drive to a new goal of raising £5,000, Peter took time out of the current half-term break to put together an impromptu video to go along with the fantastic track!
Peter wrote, arranged, composed and recorded all instruments during a half-term break, was joined by Andy Potts on saxophone, Jo Knowles (Teacher of English), Pam Pillay (Head of Music), and student vocalists Kieran, Mustafa, Selena and Ahmed, to deliver an inspired performance during the first week back. The talented and extraordinary students wrote all the lyrics, including all 150 names of students in their year group, as a legacy of their time at school.
Learn more about the campaign at our SuperKind Fundraising page, including a personal message from Peter.
