Hadestown Trip

What a night! Thirty Hertswood students journeyed to London's Lyric Theatre for a truly special experience -- the Broadway cast's performance of the acclaimed musical, Hadestown. The students were treated to a masterclass in multidisciplinary performance, witnessing the seamless blend of acting, dance, and music.

The production brilliantly retold the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus, set in a contemporary world. With themes of love, sacrifice, and the human condition, Hadestown offered a powerful and moving experience. One student remarked, 'I really enjoyed the trip, it was unique and fun. It exposed me to a whole new creative world and widened my perception greatly.' A fantastic experience for all involved!
