Big Ideas at the Student Council

Hertswood Academy's Student Council, made up of students from every year group, held their first meeting of 2025 at the start of this term, to discuss ways to make our community more inclusive in terms of educational and social opportunities.

The eager student representatives had an array of ideas, with much of the conversation focused on enrichment clubs, school events and trips. Other topics included career development, religious celebrations, and practical experiments in science.
