District Swimming Gala

Last half-term, Hertswood was delighted to take students from Years 7-12 to take part in the District Swimming Gala for the first time! It was fantastic to see our students performing in a sport that we are not able to offer in lessons. All of our students performed brilliantly and showed a great team spirit by taking part in events even if it wasn’t normally their strongest stroke.

The junior boys team even managed to win the overall event, which is an incredible achievement, and was recognised by Headteacher, Mr Gillett, last week with House Points and Amazon vouchers.
