Making Movies at Sky Studios

Last week a group of students had the outstanding opportunity to visit Sky Studios for an incredible day of activities. They were tasked with writing, producing, editing and recording their own short three-scene movie, with support of expert staff, an array of props, and breathtaking technology.

Through the day, the students were able to hear from different employees of Sky to learn about their roles and their career paths to reach them. They were also able to enjoy a twenty seat high-quality private cinema screen, to take in some trailers from films produced and recorded at Sky Studios.

They learned about roles from runners right through to producers, editors, make up artists, musicians, and carpenters.
