Race for Life 2024

Last week, Year 8 took to our field to challenge their fitness in the name of charity, by taking part in the Race for Life. The event is a tradition at Hertswood, where student work hard each year to earn money for Cancer Research UK, with many of them having friends or family members who have been impacted by cancer.

With the weather on their side, and a lot of enthusiasm, the students earned an incredible grand total of £1,624! Special congratulations go to Joe, who won the race to reach the 5km mark.
