Week of DT 2024 - Friday

We finish our Week of DT with the work of Koray and Kacper, and their product designs to tackle the task of 'Light a Space'. We look forward to sharing more examples of hard work and innovation from our Design and Technology students in 2024-25 academic year!

Koray's product, designed around a famous logo, uses laminated shapes of plywod cut using design software and a laser cutter. He used LED stripe lights for the design, to ensure the shape would light up evenly.

Kacper chose an inventive task for his lighting product -- a lit display stand for trainers. The stand is engraved to create a translucent glowing platform for the show. He added a drawer for small items and to conceal wiring, with a stopper to keep the drawer from being pulled out entirely.
