Summer Arts Success

The Hertswood Theatre recently played host to our spectacular Summer Arts Event, showcasing an incredible range of talent from across the Academy. The evening featured a wonderful mix of music and dance performances, alongside a stunning display of visual art and photography. Visitors, including proud relatives and friends, enjoyed the creative displays while treating themselves to refreshments.

The stage came alive with brilliant performances from our contemporary dancers, musical soloists, the Academy choir, and our energetic 'Rockschool' group. Mr Hobbs, Head of Performance Studies, noted how immensely proud he was of the students, praising both their exceptional talent and the professional way they conducted themselves throughout the evening. A huge thank you goes out to all the performers, staff, and Sixth Form helpers who worked behind the scenes to make the night such a triumph.

The event also marked a special occasion as we said a fond farewell to fantastic guitar teacher, Paul. Having joined Hertswood in 2006, Paul has been an essential part of our music department, helping to prepare and perform with students in every single concert for two decades. We were delighted to honour his dedication on the night and wish him the very best for the future.
