Welcome to the Team

We are absolutely delighted to introduce the newest member of the Hertswood Academy team, Chilli! Our adorable new School Dog is just eight weeks old and, while incredibly well-behaved, he certainly possesses a lively spirit and rarely likes to sit still for long. Cared for by our Executive Headteacher, Peter Gillett, Chilli is already proving to be a star, drawing large crowds and putting smiles on the faces of students and staff alike.

Chilli will be joining our resident School Dog, Ada, in supporting the wellbeing of the entire Hertswood community. His important role will include accompanying students on walks and helping to provide a warm welcome to our visitors. We look forward to sharing more photos soon from some of Chilli's first introductions across the school.
