'Summertime Eyes' supporting Herts Mind Network

Yesterday, Headteacher Peter Gillett, visited Year 7 in their assembly to launch the Hertswood summer charity campaign for Herts Mind Network. He provided a first ever performance of the song he personally wrote and recorded to support the fundraising effort, 'Summertime Eyes'.

Herts Mind Network delivers essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services. Peter and his brother Martin sadly lost both parents, Susanne and Michael, to mental health crises. The music video (below) includes the only video footage of Peter with both his parents in the early 1970s.

If we hit that goal, Peter has promised to record a performance of another song to raise money for another important charity.
