University Pathfinder Day

A large group of Year 9 students visited the University of Hertfordshire recently, for their interactive Pathfinder Day. The students formed small groups, each paired with a University student team leader, and through the day they worked together in various games and activities. Their work culminated in a craft activity, giving them the chance to demonstrate what they had learned about higher education and the student experience.

During the day, each group's team leader took them on a tour of the University campus, to get a chance to see accommodation, facilities, and more. The day was a great opportunity for the students to begin contemplating their future paths and make well-informed decisions about higher education.
